IPS Expand EXE Rise D8+ Hoist Rental Fleet

Industry leading trade hire supplier to the events and production sector - IPS based in Milton Keynes, have taken delivery x60 1000kg and x40 500kg EXE Rise D8+ chain hoists adding to their growing inventory of EXE TECHNOLOGY systems.

Impact Production Services (IPS) offers extensive rental supply in staging, rigging, lighting, video, sound and power. The additional range of EXE units has dramatically increased stock to their rigging portfolio and rental fleet. The strategic decision to strengthen their EXE offering was to meet increasing demands from their client base, frequently requesting varied EXE hoist capacity through dry hire projects via the IPS rental team.

Having purchased multiple 2000kg double reeved hoists several years ago, the units have proved a popular workhorse and generated a great return on investment as frequently commissioned on direct IPS jobs and rental projects which is an integral part of the IPS business.  It therefore made sense to add more models to the EXE family and expand their offering as one of the leading rental companies based in central England.

IPS Owner and Key Account Director - James Mason said: “Our initial investment into EXE Rise D8+ chain hoists was around 5 years ago when we purchased a quantity of 2000kg double reeved units. We have been impressed with the quality and performance of the hoists, and they have been playing an integral role within our Roof Structure range ever since. They have been on some of our biggest projects to date and have been popular with the crew and proved very reliable in operation.

The 500kg and 1000kg versions of the EXE Rise units were a logical next step when looking to replace our existing motor fleet, a decision reinforced by lots of requests for EXE Rise from our Trade Hire customer base. The D8+ rating is an appealing specification, making the hoists easy to satisfy the requirements for sub-hire on a wide range of projects. The compact body dimensions and reasonable weight (even when fitted with the IPS specification 25m HOL chain configuration) allow these hoists to be rigged neatly, and the low voltage control fits neatly with our existing control systems. I am sure these will be popular units, and now with over 100 units in hire stock at IPS, and another investment phase on the horizon it is an exciting development for our rigging department”

The IPS team will be showcasing their full EXE Rise D8+ family of hoists at PLASA Leeds in May. IPS is located on Stand N-B05 in New Dock Hall and will demo the EXE TECHNOLOGY 2000kg, alongside their new 1000kg and 500kg EXE Rise D8+ chain hoists which will be on display at PLASA Focus. The IPS team are looking forward to the two-day buzz at the Royal Armouries and a show which always attracts a great vibe and footfall. PLASA Leeds is the perfect platform to reveal their new EXE investment at the northern hub for entertainment technology.

Dave Jeffery – UK Brand Manager at Area Four Industries UK said: “It’s great to continue our long-standing relationship with James and the team at IPS, having seen the company grow considerably over the last few years.  Further investment in EXE’s most popular flagship EXE Rise D8+ 1000kg hoist coupled with the smaller EXE Rise D8+ 500kg is a testament to the growth and popularity of the demand for the brand and the increase in enquiries IPS have experienced.

EXE sets an industry standard with efficiency, reliability, strong customer support and service, alongside valuable product training. The extended EXE range is the perfect complement to the company’s Rigging Department, where customer service and industry-leading products are paramount at IPS. We are delighted to build on our relationship with the IPS team strengthened by their trusted investment with EXE TECHNOLOGY and Area Four Industries.”
